Create Your First Chrome Theme Online

Use the free Awetheme Chrome Theme Creator to make a custom Chrome or Edge theme, then export, install, or publish it.

Available options

  • Create custom Chrome themes online for free (the exported themes also work on Edge)
  • Export a ZIP and install it on your own computer
  • Publish to Awetheme so others can browse and download

Create your first theme

  1. Open the Chrome Theme Creator
  2. Fill in the name and description under Basics
  3. Adjust the look under Colors, Palette, and Images—the preview on the right updates in real time
  4. Click Save draft when you need to
  5. Click Export ZIP for personal installation, or Publish to share the theme on Awetheme

Export vs. publish

  • Export ZIP: Download the theme files, unzip them, and load them into Chrome or Edge using the steps in Install a theme on your computer
  • Publish to Awetheme: List it on this site’s marketplace so others can discover and download it (sign-in required)
